Charities
The Blue Knights® & registered organizations around the world have been continuously involved in a variety of charities. The NS1 Chapter has been heavily
involved with the IWK Hospital since 1978. During this period of time the Chapter has donated $60,000.00 to this worth while cause. The majority of
the money that was donated to the children came from the sale of tickets each year. Members have also canvassed the general public for their generous support.
The BKNS1 chapter supports the Lansdown Outdoor Recreation Development Association (LORDA), with a monetary donation each year. We attend the park in support of any fundraising they do, and provide rides on our bikes for disabled persons and children. The park is set up for seniors and disabled persons, who can stay their and enjoy the park for free. Our club's BKNS1 sign is displayed at the entrance to the park and numerous club photo's are proudly displayed in the park's Honor Hut.
We support the IWK Childrens Life Services Centre with a monetary donation each year.
We attend the Ride for Dad's in support of Prostate Cancer research. Our member's make personal donations to this charity, and wear their club colors on the ride.
Our members also attend numerous other rides throughout the year, in support of other motorcycle club's and their charitable endeavors. We attend these fundraisers on an invitation basis.
