Chapter News
Well folks, the Sep meeting is done. We started off from Enfield with 6 riders and 4 bikes and headed North-East to LORDA. We arrived there and met
up with some of our Pictou and Chester crowd where we presented Dave with a cheque for $500. He showed us around the new building and explained they had a
good summer. We then headed out to the Kelly's with Pete leading the way. We had about 10 members and their ladies present for a good fall meeting. Fall riding so
far has been great with good tempatures and good weather. We're arranging a ride to Ronald McDonald house to drop off a donation, more to follow. Also, be aware
Nominations are due for Executive postions, please get in touch with Barry Mellish to nominate or volunteer yourself. Our next meeting will be Oct 30th at the Cole Harbour Recreation
Center, (our usual winter digs), 1:00 pm. We will also be accepting nominations at this meeting. Times, departures, etc will follow
as we're going to try and get one more good ride in. Enjoy the good weather when we have it. Don't forget, let's get out and get seen. Well ladies and gents, another week, another
donation. Gerry and I got to head over to Ronald McDonald house on Friday, 30 Sep 11 before the rain. Got our usual warm reception and introduced Ger to some of the few folks in
Atlantic Canada that didn't know him. We had the opportunity to meet up with Tricia who was a guest back in 85 and decided she wanted to give back. And appropriately, her brother
is a member of Saint John PD as well. Sorry I didn't get word out so more could attend, but it was last minute contact. Ride with Pride.
NEC News
Ladies and Gentlemen, As above, well folks, I understand Pete and Cheryl and Jim and Gloria had a good ride to Fall NEC in Rhode Island. From what we hear, it was
a fantastic time with old friends. Something new, we have some new NEC Executive, they are, Ricky Gautreau from Que as Chairman, Ken Hopkins, US Vice Chairman, Guy Poirier, Canada Vice Chairman,
David Neilson, Secretary, Breen Savage as Treasurer and Serge Fournier returns as International Representative. Remember, spring NEC will be in Bangor and we will again throw
Friendship 12 at the Gap, hopefully work doesn't get in the way.

International Blue Knight News
Ladies and Gentlemen, International was a great time despite the heat. 1173 members present, good turnout and the guys and gals from Virginia 5 did a fantastic
job as usual. Many thanks to Ronney, Bobby and the crowd. Gerry, Pete, Cheryl, Ryan, Ed, Betty and I headed down from Chapter and met up with Pete and Mary down there. Even with the heat, it was an event not to be missed.
Old friends were found and new ones made and the Nova Scotian friendship was shown as always. We all made it down and back safely, so it was great.
